- Yep. If you buy any VGA monitor you will be restricted to the higher
- frequency modes. You can forget most games and the Early Start-up screen.

- SCART (Peritel) is a "standard" in use in Europe and provides for an RGB
- output on all suitably configured equipment. It also allows for all sorts
- of control codes and stereo sound.

- In theory a SCART equipped TV should perform as well as an RGB monitor but
- manufacturing tolerances mean that this is probably not likely to happen
- (unless you buy Bang & Olufsen!). Oh, and being European means PAL/SECAM
- only - no NTSC.
